Hey all, I am Krista Jo Jansen!
I have loved photography since the first time I picked up a camera! Growing up I loved competing in photography competitions at the County fair and the MN State fair! (I mean who doesn’t love a trip to the land of fried food 😋) From there I began photographing sessions any chance I got! I absolutely love learning new things and meeting new people which is a HUGE reason why I photography!

1. I am obsessed with my Golden Retriever Essie! If you come out to Lake Park for a session you might be lucky enough to meet my golden child……Or you could also follow her adventures on Instagram @Essiethegoldenchild
2. I am a crime show junkie. Chances are that is what is on in the background as I am editing your fabulous images!
3. I firmly believe everything is a little bit better if it sparkles! You should see my office at home - it is truly my happy place!
4. I absolutely LOVE my family! They are my rock and I don’t know what I would do without them!
5. I grew up in agriculture and enjoyed every minute of it. I loved being involved in 4-H and FFA and I enjoy helping with harvest on the farm every year.
6. When I am in the kitchen cooking there is a rule of always add more cheese and when I am baking it is how can I add more chocolate to this recipe.
7. In the summer watermelon is its own food group to me and must always be in my fridge!
8. I love to travel!! One of my favorite trips was our honeymoon to Greece and Italy! The sights were absolutely stunning and we had so much fun seeing a new part of the world!
9. Back in the days of film cameras, I once took an entire roll of film of the "Rugrats" on TV. Safe to say my mom was none too impressed when we got them developed, but we laugh about it now!
10. I am a bargain shopper to the extreme so if you say you like my shirt chances are I will tell you allllllllll about the great deal I got on it! True Midwesterner right here!
11. I believe everything happens for a reason!
